PurLayer is Going Global: UK First, US and EU Coming in Q2

The UK Foundation is in Place
That foundation is now firmly in place. Every sector strategy across Healthcare, Finance, Education, Government, Manufacturing and Retail has been built and verified around the regulatory frameworks UK organisations are actually accountable to:
- Healthcare - NHS DSPT and Caldicott Principles
- Finance - FCA, PRA, SMCR, NIST CSF 2.0, NIS2 Directive and DORA
- Education - UK GDPR and the Children's Code
- Government - Government Security Classifications and NCSC CAF
- Manufacturing - Export Control Act 2002 and ISO 27001
- Retail - UK GDPR, PECR and PCI-DSS
Current, accurate and UK-specific across all six sectors and all seven objectives.
What is Next
PurLayer is expanding. US and EU market strategies are in the pipeline and planned for Q2 2026.
US strategies will be built around HIPAA, HITECH, FERPA, NIST and FedRAMP, properly mapped to each sector rather than adapted from UK content.
EU strategies will reflect the regulatory landscape across member states including GDPR enforcement, NIS2, DORA and the EU AI Act.
Each market will be built to the same standard as the UK - sector-specific, objective-driven and verified against current regulatory guidance.
Why This Approach
Expanding into new markets takes time to do properly. Purview strategies are only useful if the regulatory foundation they sit on is accurate. Borrowing frameworks from one jurisdiction and applying them to another produces strategies that look complete but will not hold up in practice.
Building UK-first meant getting one market right before expanding. The same approach will apply to the US and EU.
